Day excursions can be made to La Jolla, the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Temecula Valley Wineries, and Tijuana, Mexico.  In San Diego itself, you can visit a dozen unique museums in the heart of famous Balboa Park, Seaport Village for shopping, the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, and the Reuben H.
