The Institute for Sustainability issues several audience focused newsletters. IfS members receive the Engineers Forum on Sustainability newsletter which features international, government, and academic efforts to address sustainability and sustainable development. It is a cooperative effort of ASCE, ASEE, AAAS, AIChE Institute for Sustainability, ASME, and IEEE-USA). The AIChE Sustainable Engineering Forum Newsletter features the activities and events of the Sustainable Engineering Forum, and the Center for Sustainable Technology Practices CSTP Steward features articles focusing on industry putting sustainability into practice.

ENGINEERS FORUM ON SUSTAINABILITY
Forum Addresses Wide Range of Sustainability Developments and Issues. At the November 12, 2004 meeting of the Engineers Forum on Sustainability, participants were briefed on the vision for the International Polar Year 2007 – 2008, the Project Sustainability Management Guidelines published by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), the university sustainability initiatives in South Carolina, and the mission and activities of the Green Blue Institute.
